Ryan Seacrest has further cemented his business partnership with Clear Channel Communications, the company with whom he is radio partners with. Seacrest has been on a steady ascent in his career since the early 90s, but things really took off for him upon hosting 'American Idol' in 2002 which made him a household name throughout America. Radio endeavours soon followed and Clear Channel are involved in his show 'On Air With Ryan Seacrest' - a program that still airs today almost eight years on from its beginnings on Los Angeles radio station KIIS.
Now the Los Angeles Times reports that Clear Channel have invested $300 million in Ryan Seacrest Media, the holding company of the 37 year-old and is also taking a minority stake in his production company. A statement from Seacrest said "We aim to build Ryan Seacrest Media into a leading multimedia company with diversified assets and interests." For their part, Clear Channel seemed equally enthused at the coming together, with chief executive BOB PITTMAN saying "Ryan is an unmatched creative talent with success across more media platforms and involvement with a greater variety of programming and venues than anyone else in the industry."
What the investment means for Clear Channel is that they'll continue to have a working relationship with Seacrest even if the highly marketable star eventually decides to leave his radio show. He's been highly touted already to replace Matt Lauer when the latter's contract with Nbc's 'Today Show' finishes.
Since today's news of Steve Jones being relieved of his duties as X Factor host it is also thought that Seacrest may get a nod for that job, following his success on AMERICAN IDOL.
Well this also shows that if you like something follow your dream if someone ever told him he will be getting $300000000 from hosting some years back he would have laughed it off

A WAKE UP CALL This is inspirational !!!!
There is a problem with the Nigerian mind set. It is so limiting that it stifles innovation and creative thinking. You’re made to go to school, serve your country and finally WORK! This is the dream picture of an average Nigerian parent for his/her child. They forget that life is not about a cycle that runs from generation to generation!!
What about all the young people start out their small business? What about allowing the young people decide their dreamsThere is absolutely nothing stopping you from getting a small fund from your guardian to start out. Today, we admire the Ibrus, the Dangotes Igbinedions, and internationally Bill Gates, Steve jobs etc. All these people would be nowhere today if they spent all their efforts on working for someone else.
A contemporary example is Wizkid. If the talented artist adhered to the limited mindset of finishing school and working for someone, Nigerians wouldn't be dancing to his, soon to be, classic hits. Before he started out, he probably asked himself what he wanted to be in future; whether a slave to the man, or an internationally known music maker. Because he had the courage to choose, he has become an international success.
If Bill gates did not start Microsoft, we wouldn't be enjoying our Windows services today. The late Steve Jobs initially worked for Hewlett Packard (HP), but said his job was frustrating and set out on his own. He created Apple, which is the most valuable tech company in America today.
It is up to you to determine your future! If you are a good trader, go into it. If you can sing, pursue a career in music. If you can make shoes, be a cobbler (or start a shoe company). If you can design clothes, search for a career in fashion.
Enough of the blaming of the Nigerian government on unemployment
If a million Nigerian youths set out to do their “own thing,” we are essentially creating nothing less than 6 million jobs!
This message goes out to the youths of 2011. WE have the power to change OUR futures and the future of Nigeria as a whole. The ball is in our court.
FORMER SPEAKER&DEPUTY SPEAKER BANKOLE/NAFADA HAS NO CASE TO ANSWER #GODHELPUS
The Abuja High Court sitting at Apo, Tuesday, ruled that our own very former
Speaker mr Dimeji Bankole and his deputy Usman Bayero Nafada have no case
to answer in the N40bn loan case.
the court said it was a “no-case-submission” before it by the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Dimeji Bankole and his deputy, Usman Bayero Nafada pertaining to the 17-count criminal charge preferred against them by, EFCC, over an alleged role they played in a N40 billion loan saga that trailed the sixth session of the green chamber.
Justice Belgore rejected Keyamo’s case as he ruled that dimeji did not benefit from the loan.
There was no theft as it was a loan that have been liquidated and it was provided for in the budget.
Belgore further ruled that it was not a salary increase or allowance increase but increase in running cost.
